INPEX is undertaking final preparations to ensure the LNG facilities at Bladin Point are ready for production. This multi-step process will require some flaring of gas as tests are undertaken to ensure product from the LNG processing facilities meet highly stringent requirements.
This is a standard industry practice and is being conducted in accordance with NT Environment and Protection Authority requirements.
