Port users are advised that a flare demonstration will be conducted at the East Arm boat ramp between 8.00am and 10.00am on Thursday 8 August 2019.
Hand held flares, hand held orange smoke signals and para rocket flares will be demonstrated for education.
These flares do not constitute distress or emergency.
Flare sightings outside these times, or if in doubt, should be reported.
